GALLOP Workshops for Businesses

Have you ever wished that your employees or co-workers could function with less conflict and more efficiency?  Have you ever considered that a herd of horses could teach us about working together as a team?
Herds must function as a single unit, for their protection and survival.  Being non-verbal creatures, they communicate in ways that are effective and definitive.  Leadership is
determined by ability, and the responsibility of the leader is always the well-being of the
herd.  A herd consists of many different personalities, each one contributing something important to the whole.
These workshops focus on forming positive working relationships with various personality
types.  Participants will learn to earn the trust and respect of the horses, and to embody the qualities of the lead horse.  Skills such as awareness of self and others, clear communication, consistency, and effectiveness will be emphasized.  The team will then practice functioning together as a herd, and will have an opportunity to discuss which strategies are effective, and which ones are not.
Each time a business signs up to attend a workshop they will also be providing a similar learning experience for at-risk youth from our local community.  The workshop fees, paid by the business, will cover the cost of both sessions and half of that fee will be considered a tax deductible donation.

To receive a detailed informational packet about the workshop please call 704-638-2339 and provide your phone number, mailing address or email, your name, and company name.  Or you may email Stacey at
stacey@savinggracefarm.com.  We look forward to hearing from you!

GALLOP Lessons and Camps for Youth

We are answering the call to provide guidance and powerful lessons in awareness for the youth in our community.  This program is beneficial for all youth, particularly those with behavioral issues and those considered at-risk.

There is healing power in horses.  When we form a relationship with a horse, we are able to learn so much about ourselves, and to develop qualities that may have been lying dormant.  We can experience a connection that is strong and solid, yet can't be seen or touched.  We can realize its power, and what it takes to maintain it.  This connection requires control of our bodies and energy, awareness of others, personal responsibility, trust, and respect.  It has nothing to do with our background or material possessions.  The qualities we need to be loved by a horse can be found in every single individual, and once experienced we can never deny that they exist.  This program empowers youth with confidence and self-esteem, two of the most powerful preventatives of involvement in drugs and criminal behavior.

Our sessions are facilitated by professionals in the field of EAA (Equine Assisted Activities) who truly believe in the power of the horse to change lives.

Scheduling is flexible.

We offer opportunities through camps, weekly lessons, or half-day group sessions.

Families and mentors are also welcome to participate.
